Pre-meeting Workshop 1: Introduction to PPRNet Reports
This workshop is intended for novice PPRNet members who are inexperienced with PPRNet reports. We will begin with an overview of our data processing methods. We will then demonstrate how to interpret and use PPRNet practice, provider and patient level reports. Specific examples of how to use the reports for quality improvement and patient outreach will be shown. The remainder of the workshop will be a hands-on opportunity for attendees to begin interpreting their own practice’s reports with guidance from members of the PPRNet team.
Pre-meeting Workshop 2: Using PPRNet reports for Performance Recognition Programs
This workshop is intended for PPRNet members who are experienced with PPRNet reports. We will describe how PPRNet reports are currently being used by PPRNet members for PCMH, PQRS and other performance recognition programs. During the first hour, we will present an overview of the NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home program, highlighting how PPRNet members have used reports to meet some of the application requirements. During the second hour, we will then discuss the Bridges to Excellence performance recognition program, using specific examples of how PPRNet reports have been used to quickly and easily meet the programs’ specifications and receive financial incentives. The third hour of the workshop will be spent discussing how to receive Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) incentives using PPRNet reports. Finally, we will devote the remaining time of the workshop for a hands-on opportunity for attendees to begin using their own practices’ reports for these incentive opportunities, with guidance from members of the PPRNet team and other PPRNet members who have successfully completed these recognition programs.
