IT Governance

The IT Governance process should begin with a organization's highest-level strategic planning processes. The key assumption here is that the organization's educational, research, business and clinical needs always drive IT investments. Therefore, the Vision, Drivers, and Guiding Values produced through the execution of planning functions guide all IT decisions. Once developed, these high-level directions should be relatively stable and enduring.
